Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone south of the border and my fellow citizens in exile. As my company does every year, they will be holding their Beaujolais Nouveau Party. It is basically an evening where they invite all our clients for wine and hors-d’oeuvres. Thereby preventing me from the chance of spending any time at all with family (back home and even here). It is a nice evening and I really enjoyed it the first few years, but some changes are being made this year that make it more business and less pleasure. But enough of my fatigued whining.

If you haven’t been reading these pages for very long, here is what I said about Thanksgiving a couple years ago (it’s a little more upbeat) and here is my Beaujolais Nouveau story (worth checking out. It’s pretty funny).

Happy Thanksgiving and have some turkey and pumpkin pie for me.

One Response to “Happy Thanksgiving!”

  1. Well, this year Thanksgiving was a bit different; we drove to the campground in West Virginia with the entire turkey dinner already cooked and in containers for reheating. My youngest brother and his wife met us there and we spent the weekend atv-ing and eating, it even snowed the day after Thanksgiving. The wonderful folks at the campground gave us an unrented house for free for the 4 day weekend, so in the evenings we watched movies they brought on dvd’s. Bri-guy took some awesome pics up on top of flattop mountain with the blue ridges in the background. Nice to be able to connect with family in such a spectacular setting!
